​Colin O’Reilly received his PhD in Economics from Suffolk University in 2014. Currently he is an Associate Professor of Economics at Creighton University and a Scholar at Creighton’s Institute for Economic Inquiry. Colin’s research focuses on institutions that promote economic development, in particular institutions that facilitate recovery from violent conflict. In addition, he has published on the impacts of regulation and the distribution of income. His articles have appeared in peer reviewed journals including Public Choice, Economica, and World Development.
